Our Approach
"We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet"
Swami Vivekanand
Learning at UIS is about building strong foundations while inspiring curiosity for lifelong growth. Rooted in India’s 5,000-year-old knowledge traditions, adopting the comprehensive CBSE curriculum, our approach blends Indian ethos with progressive learning, academic rigour with creativity, ethics, and real-world application.
We believe every learner is unique — and our goal is to nurture confident individuals who are grounded in Indian values yet prepared to excel in a global environment.
At UIS, learning happens through exploration, reflection, and action.
Our classrooms, labs, studios, and playgrounds are spaces where curiosity meets character and discipline meets discovery.
The philosophy of the school aligns with Jacques Delors’ four tennets of education—“learning to know, to do, to be, and to live together”

Technology & Innovation
“The world is changing very fast. Big will not beat small anymore. It will be the fast beating the slow.” — Rupert Murdoch
At UIS, technology is an enabler of faster and smarter learning. Digital tools, smart classrooms, and interactive platforms are woven into daily learning, helping students research, collaborate, and create with confidence. Rather than using technology as an add-on, we integrate it meaningfully to spark innovation and develop adaptability for tomorrow’s careers.
Communication & Language Development
Proficiency in language opens doors to knowledge and leadership. UIS places strong emphasis on English, while also valuing Indian languages to build cultural rootedness. Through structured reading, writing, speaking, and listening practices, students gain the ability to express themselves clearly and persuasively—skills essential for academic success and personal growth. “Sanskrit is more than a language—it’s a gateway to profound wisdom, linguistic excellence, and well-rounded personal development.”
