The prime focus of our campus security is strict control on entry, which is a key to safety. Round-the-Clock security on the campus is ensured through strategically located CCTV cameras monitored continuously by our security personnel.
How does the school ensure the safety of its students in a coeducational environment?
All activities, whether academic, co-curricular, or sporting, are conducted under the supervision of teachers. Adult supervision is emphasised on the campus, at all times and is largely supported by strategically located surveillance cameras and guards.
How many times can I meet the teacher?
Parents are welcome any day to the campus for matters requiring urgent attention. However, a prior appointment with the Principal or the concerned teacher is encouraged. The school shall conduct a minimum of 2 Parent – Teacher Meetings during any given academic session.
What is the assessment/examination process in UIS?
We follow the examination / assessment process set by CBSE.

The Medium of Instruction in the school is English. It will not only be an English medium school, but it will be an English-speaking school too. The local language will be taught as per the board norms.

We follow strict admission norms. Proper admission procedures are followed, and only then is a child is given admission. We will conduct these admission formalities in the months of March and April every year. Only the transfer cases are entertained after this time duration.

No, there are no formal aptitude tests conducted, as mentioned in the CBSE bye-laws. An interactive meeting between the Principal of the School and the parents of the child, along with the child is conducted as well as an aptitude test for the assessment of the child.

Admission Cancellation Policy
Withdrawal of Roll Over Admissions
- In case of roll over students, if the parent has paid the fee for the term and there is a mid-term withdrawal, tuition fee for the period till which student has attended will be deducted. In case 1 months’ notice is not given, one additional month’s fee will be deducted.
- If the child has attended even one day of school, term fee is not refundable, if child has not attended school, term fee would be refunded along with the balance tuition fee.
- In case the parent has not paid the fee, the school will withhold issuing of Leaving Certificate till the dues as mentioned above are settled.
