ACADEMICS
Embracing Indian Heritage: A Holistic Academic Curriculum.
At our school, the academic curriculum is meticulously designed to foster a deep connection with India’s rich cultural and intellectual heritage while nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped for modern global challenges. Rooted in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), such as ancient texts like the Arthashastra, Manusmriti, Natyashastra and Upanishads, and traditional practices from Ayurveda, Yoga, and indigenous arts, the curriculum integrates these elements across all stages of learning. This approach not only instills pride in Indian roots but also promotes values like sustainability, mindfulness, and community harmony, drawing from concepts like Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family). Subject matter is designed to promote global awareness, cultural sensitivity, and interconnectedness through cultural exchange programs, virtual collaborations with students from other countries, while equipping students with skills to thrive in a globalized world ensuring students see their education as a bridge between timeless wisdom and contemporary life.
Foundation Stage
This is not just the foundation of education; This is the foundation of a happy, wholesome human being.
Preparatory Stage
Early Years: Playful Exploration Through Indian Lenses
In the preparatory stage, we prioritize the playway method to make learning joyful and intuitive, aligning with the Indian philosophy of Lila (divine play). Children engage in hands-on, experiential activities that subtly weave in cultural practices—such as storytelling sessions based on Panchatantra fables to teach morals, or simple pottery and rangoli-making inspired by traditional crafts to develop fine motor skills. Sensory play might involve exploring spices and herbs from Ayurvedic traditions, while music and dance draw from folk forms like Bharatanatyam or Garba. This stage emphasizes holistic development, where play is not just fun but a medium to connect with Indian roots, and learn by building curiosity, creativity, and a sense of identity without the pressure of formal assessments.
Middle Stage
Middle Years: Building Foundations with Skills and Activities
Secondary Stage
Secondary Years: In-Depth Academics and Real-World Readiness
